Privacy policy for Quiet Pasuk
Last updated: August 3, 2026
This page explains policies regarding information used by the Quiet Pasuk app (“the Service”).
The app does not create user accounts and does not sell personal information. Most data stays on your device.
The app may store on your device:
This information stays on your device unless you choose to share a verse (for example through the system share sheet).
If you buy Full Access, payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may process purchase information under Apple’s privacy policy.
When you use features that need the internet (for example random verses from the full Tanakh), the app may request text from Sefaria (sefaria.org). Those requests can include the verse reference being fetched. Sefaria’s handling of server logs is governed by Sefaria’s own policies.
Psalms and Proverbs can work offline from text bundled in the app.
The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use App Tracking Transparency / IDFA for advertising. We do not currently use a separate analytics SDK.
If the app experiences an error, your device or Apple systems may generate diagnostic information according to your device settings. The app itself does not operate a separate analytics backend for that purpose.
The Service may open third-party sites (for example Sefaria). Those sites are not operated by us. Their privacy practices are their own.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
